Good company,
a warm room,
and a little courage.
One classy fall evening for Catholic singles in their 30s and 40s. Real conversation, good drinks, no pressure — just a room full of people who showed up for the same reason you did.
Friday, November 6, 2026 · 7:00–10:00 PM · St. Thomas More, Centennial · $25 on Eventbrite, $30 at the door.
Buy ahead if you can — the headcount is how we plan the room.
Doors open in …
Not a mixer. Not an app.
Just a good night out.
If you're Catholic, single, and somewhere in your 30s or 40s, you already know the problem: the young adult group skews 24, the family ministries skew minivan, and the apps are… the apps.
So three groups that care about this stage of life put together one evening, on purpose. Come as you are, meet people who share your faith, and let the rest unfold. No name tags with your life story, no forced speed rounds. Structured enough that you'll talk to everyone; relaxed enough that it feels like a friend's dinner party.
Hosted in the warmth of St. Thomas More on a Friday night in November, with beer, wine, and light bites on hand. It's named for St. Raphael — the archangel who walked Tobias down the road to meet Sarah, and the patron of happy meetings. We figured he should be on the guest list.
- A warm welcome
Doors at 7. Grab a drink, settle in. Arriving solo is the norm here — you'll be looked after from the moment you walk in.
- Games that do the hard part for you
A few fun, low-stakes icebreakers so nobody has to invent an opening line. You'll meet more people in an hour than a month on the apps.
- Mix & mingle
Beer, wine, soft drinks, and light bites while you circle back to whoever made you laugh.
- A short closing blessing
A few words and a prayer to send everyone home well.
Tell us a little about you, then grab your ticket.
Fill out the card first — five quick questions that help us seat tables well. Then we'll send you straight to Eventbrite. Please buy ahead if you can: we plan the tables, the drinks, and the games off the headcount, and it saves you $5 at the door.

The practical questions.
Is this a matchmaking event?
Not in the speed-dating sense. It's a hosted evening designed so you actually meet people — small table conversations, then open time. What happens after is up to you.
Do I need to be a parishioner at St. Thomas More?
No. Catholics from anywhere in the Denver metro (and beyond) are welcome. STM is simply the host.
What's the age range, really?
This evening is for adults in their 30s and 40s. If you're close on either side and this sounds like your crowd, come.
What should I wear?
"Classy fall." Think dinner out, not Mass, not a club — sweaters, boots, a good jacket. You'll want to look like yourself on a good day.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely — plenty of people do, and the evening is built for it. You'll be in a group from the start and never left standing by the coat rack. And if a friend would make it easier, bring them along.
Can I bring a friend?
Please do — single friends in their 30s and 40s are exactly who we want in the room. Each person needs their own Eventbrite ticket so our headcount stays honest.
What does the ticket cover?
Beer, wine, soft drinks, light bites, the venue, and the program. $25 on Eventbrite, or $30 at the door while space lasts — we'd much rather you buy ahead.
Will there be alcohol?
Beer and wine, plus soft drinks for anyone not drinking. This is a grown-up evening, not a party.
Who's putting this on?
St. Thomas More Catholic Church, FIAT (STM's ministry for adults in their 30s and 40s), and Not So Young Catholics, a Denver Facebook community for the same age group.
